Things you need

Before you submit your repeat prescription request, you need to know, or have access to, the following information.

Address and contact details of the person requiring the repeat prescription.
Details of the medication required, including the strength.

What you need to know

Repeat prescription requests normally take five working days to process however the pharmacy also require time to dispense the medication so please allow enough time for this.
Please do not leave requests until the last minute.
Early requests will not be issued.

Please allow five full working days before trying to collect your prescription. Please do not contact us to check if your prescription is ready unless the five working days have elapsed. It is important to request a prescription before a medication runs out.

When your prescription is ready

They can be collected from your local pharmacy (specify pharmacy in your request, or contact your pharmacy to arrange this). If you want your prescription delivered you need to discus this direct with the pharmacy.
