The practice will be going through an essential IT upgrade which will affect the ability to pre book appointments and for some days be emergencies only on the day.
East Calder Medical Practice is to have essential work carried out to upgrade to a new clinical server from Monday the 11th May until the end of June.
APPOINTMENTS We will be operating a limited service only from 10th June until provisionally, 24th June inclusive
During the period of the change over there will be limited, or no, access to computerised records and we will be reverting to a manual appointment system.
This is to enable a new computer server to be installed. During this period there will be no advanced booking of appointments and limited, or no, computerised information will be available. A date for advanced booking of appointments beyond Mon 11th May will not be available until after the computers have been reconfigured.
To ease the transition to the new system it would help us if patients requiring routine non-urgent appointments avoid requesting appointments during this period.
Patients requiring urgent attention or advice should contact the surgery as normal. Patients who attend the surgery may experience long waiting times and we apologise for this.
